It's extremely easy to become a GURU, Director, comedian, musician, or youtuber (normal status) on YouTube.

All you have to do is go to http://www.youtube.com/my_profile

Click "Edit Channel Info"

At the bottom select the drop down menu next to "Channel Type"

VOILA! DONE! Now you know how to get director status and be those other things I already mentioned :)
