You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one! That's a great Beatles song lyric, and it seems like I'm not the only one who shares it as somewhat of a philosophy.
Intel, in spite of the economy it appears, is investing around 7 billion dollars in U.S. facilities. They basically want to do this to get an even tighter grip on the processor market and expand other markets I assume.
I'm not sure what AMD is doing right now, but I really hope they can keep up. In fact, I'd offer them some free support just to help keep some competition. That's what a lot of AMD fans do anyway.
I learned this info over at Toms Hardware. Which is a good site for both light and heavy techy stuff.
