Ghandi - The Movie (1983) By: David Rader II on February 26, 2009 @ 12:18 AM
I started watching the movie "Ghandi" two days ago on Netflix. My wife watches the DVD's, while I on the other hand watch them at my computer from Netflix's selection online :D
I've now finished the movie, but even after a third of the way through it, I can see why it was- is so critically acclaimed. Just like this picture, the movie was big.
The movie was over 3 hours long!
It's a very inspirational movie. He definitely was Christ-like, more Christian than many Christians, more Buddhist than many Buddhists and more of many things than most men are or have ever tried to be. Just from what I heard about him before, he was a hero of mine, now even more so. If I am at least half as strong willed in my effort for peace as he was, I will make a huge impact.
I'm glad I got to finish this movie, considering it took me three days to watch it. One to start it, two to be so busy I couldn't finish it, and three to watch the last of it.
If you haven't seen it yourself and you can't watch it for free on Netflix, You can find this movie on Amazon for about 12 bucks w/ free shipping or eBay for 15 without free ship. I hope you get to watch it too!
